Find and Live Your Life's Purpose
some of my thoughts and ideas about how you can live your
"Big Picture".
I believe we all have a purpose for our life, yet it is so easy to
get caught up in the battlefield of lesser importance.
I feel that when we are living on purpose and our connected with our own Big Picture, life is most rewarding and we stand to make the biggest difference in the lives of others. I will share some questions below that can help you connect, reconnect, or clarify the purpose of your life.
1. Write your definition of "living my Big Picture". What would be happening in different areas of life (marriage, parenting, work, friendships, health, etc...) if you were connected to YOUR "Big Picture".
2. Write your definition of purpose. What gives your life purpose?
3. Often the purpose of your life, or the way you live out your purpose, changes throughout your life. Bring yourself back to early points in your life and image what you would have seen as your life's purpose at different points in time. For example: As a child, as an adolescent, as a young adult, at mid-life and as a "life master" (55 and up).
4. What have been some of the powerful moments (positive or negative) that have impacted or helped you discover your life's purpose?
5. How can you continue to stay connected to your life's purpose on a daily basis?
