Children are Hurt, Even If Not Hit

According to the Department of Justice, 10 million children in the US see their moms get abused every year.
You hurt your children when staying in abusive relationships because your children
model your behavior as role models.

Oprah had two heart grabbing shows a couple of months ago
that dealt with the horrible reality of abuse.

Susan was brave to share her story with the world. Her courage saved a life of an abused woman who wrote to the Oprah show after seeing this segment.

Susan's verbal and physical
attack was captured on video tape and lasted as long as 2 hours.

Here's part of the horror: their 13 year old son was forced to be the cameraman.

This happened for years on a daily basis.

Fast forward : Susan escaped the abuse with the help of a compassionate and non judgmental
co worker. Susan said that because her supervisor, Lynn approached her with compassion and without judgment, it gave her strength.

Lynn helped to save her life.

Without Susan knowing it, her supervisor kept
detailed notes on her bruises. Even though Susan video tapes of her beatings, the co worker's notes helped to give her husband 36years behind bars.
