If you're Happy and You know it clap your hands..

I can't hear you!

I found happiness quotes and wanted to share them with you:

"All good men and women are happy when they choose to be their own authors. Those who choose to have others edit their pathways, must live on the edge of another man's sword."
-- Julie Arabi

"Never continue in a job you don't enjoy. If you're happy in what you're doing, you'll like yourself, you'll have inner peace. And if you have that, along with physical health, you will have had more success than you could possibly have imagined."

-- Rodan of Alexandria

Did any phrase from the above quotes light up your heart?
Or did they feel like a far away dream meant for anyone but you?

Bottom Line: If you want more joy, happiness, vitality, and inner peace

1. Be Authentic
2. March to the beat of your own drum
3. Discover a career you truly enjoy

Looks easy doesn't it.

How many of us infuse each quality in our day to day affairs?

I'm guessing not many at all...

According to Steven Covey from the Book the 8th Habit, In a poll
of over 23,000 employees from a variety of corporations
only 20% trusted the companies they worked for.

Fellow Blogger at Slow Leadership says this:

"Employees who feel impotent and devalued are quickly alienated from the organization of which they’re a part. No amount of fine words about “people are our greatest asset” will change this. Faced with a choice between believing what they hear or what they experience, people trust their experience every time. What they know is that there’s a group of people similar to themselves (“us”), who are treated as having little value beyond their ability to follow orders passed down from above (by “them”)."

Visit Slow Leadership's blog for more diagrams like the one above and for the full article on building trust.

Does this reflect your job environment?

If so, this may explain your lack of energy to do the things that matter to you at the end of the day.

What can you do to improve your work conditions?

You owe it to yourself to work in a place where you are valued.

I can help you as a coach explore your options and come up with a plan that
will lighten your load and give your life back.

Contact me at my website: http://www.partnersinpurpose.com
and set up a complimentary session.

I look forward to working with you and restoring your joy and inner peace.

Dr. Mike Davison
